CfC is not a corporate charity, keeping things simple & operating at a family level from support of other amazing Volunteers at our Eastbourne workshop.

There is no bar, Volunteers come from all walks and abilities. Whether experiencing Mental Health issues, Disability, Retirement, Studying, Carers, Unemployed, etc. All are welcome! (Men & Women and all ages)

Further afield maybe you can help the charity in other ways!. As with our Christmas Shoebox appeal operating at a national level since 1992 or other projects yet to be announced.

Admin Support: Answering phones, etc. Plus keeping the chairman on track

Volunteering: 16 - 90+ Years Old. We Need You!

Volunteers are Needed & Welcome

Volunteers provide time, skills, expertise in varying ways and certainly there is no pressure. Whether a couple of hours, here and there or more... We appreciate & value the help and company of our volunteers operating in a safe environment

Many are more local to the charities workshop located in Eastbourne, East Sussex, some travel in

• Edgar travelled from East End London once a week giving 4 hours,
• Ronan travels over from Littlehampton
• Colin a carer and disabled travelled once a week by bus from Hastings

Volunteers are needed to aid all areas of the charities operation, including;

Admin support

Handy people to assist with repair and Maintenance

Van Drivers for local and London collections (Aged 25+, Clean driving licence)

Network engineers, Laptop repairers, Computers hardware experience

Warehouse support, Packers

Knitters and more. Hours to suite

Homeworking / Link people Nationally; Local Collectors or drop off locations, Fund Raisers and more.

2. Work Experience / Erasmus

CfC provides varying work experience opportunities for local schools, Job Centres, etc. And Europe (Erasmus)

Work Experience:

CfC provides varied work experience opportunities for Colleges locally & EU (Erasmus). Job Centres and other agencies. (Applies to Students aged 16+)
